Matthew McCabe

Biography

​Matthew McCabe is an Associate Professor of Remote Sensing and Water Resources at the King Abdullah University of Science and Technology and Associate Director of the Water Desalination and Reuse Center (WDRC). He received his undergraduate and post-graduate engineering degrees from the University of Newcastle in Australia, and then spent 5 years in the United States: first at Princeton University and later at Los Alamos National Laboratory. Prior to joining KAUST in late 2012, Matthew was an Associate Professor at the University of New South Wales in Australia. His research interests include modeling both the local and global scale earth system, and the use of novel earth observing platforms to better monitor and describe environmental processes, particularly as relates to hydrology and agriculture.
