KAUST- NSF Conference
Professor Laleg-Kirati joined KAUST in 2011 after being a postdoc and a researcher at INRIA Bordeaux in France. She received her PhD in Applied Mathematics in 2008 from INRIA and Versailles University. Professor Laleg-Kirati's work is in the general area of mathematical control theory, systems modeling and their applications. She focuses on designing estimation algorithms for infinite dimensional systems including partial differential equations and fractional differential equations. She has also worked and collaborated on a variety of applications for infinite dimensional systems, including desalination, medical imaging, and solar distributed collectors.
