Christos Thrampoulidis

Biography

​Christos Thrampoulidis was born in Veroia, Greece in 1988. He received his diploma in electrical and computer engineering from the University of Patras, Greece in 2011. He received a M.S. and a Ph.D. degree in Electrical Engineering in 2012 and 2016, respectively, both from the California Institute of Technology (Caltech), with a minor in Applied and Computational Mathematics. He is currently a Postdoctoral Associate at the Research Laboratory of Electronics at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT). His research interests include structured signal recovery, convex optimization analysis, compressive sensing, high-dimensional geometry and computational imaging. He is a recipient of the 2014 Qualcomm Innovation Fellowship, and, of the Andreas Mentzelopoulos Scholarship and the I. Milias awards from the University of Patras.​
